My personal play philosophy is that play is incredibly important. It builds social skills, strength and critical thinking. Children also work on their fine motor skills, language and calculations. They build confidence and creativity through exploring different environments textures.

As an educator, I have come to learn that teaching children is a collaborative effort. No individual will have all the answers for what is right and wrong when teaching children. A child's uniqueness means that as teachers, we need to constantly be learning to further their knowledge. Coming together to share ideas needs to be the foundation in which we build on. We need to keep things fun and exciting. Newer ideas give us things to be excited implementing and see where the journey takes us.
